I told myself I wouldn't cry. I was proud of myself that I hadn't.

And then it came.

But all and all, I still wouldn't trade it for the world.

I don't think anyone is reading this anymore, but last night I was finally able to write again...so here it is.

Somewhere along this journey called life, I took a wrong turn

I got lost

I've been lost and confused and in the dark

I walk around in circles and I pass the same road marks

Over and Over

The same signs

The same feelings

Deja vu

And I still don't see you



I have wanted to stop and ask for directions

But on this journey, I am a lonely traveler

I see people, I see them all

They have mouths

But they have no real words

They travel in herds

Yet, I am still alone

Walking around in the dark

Waiting for the rain to come

Waiting to finally be home



Though I can't complain the whole way

Because through the dark I have found light

Spirts of light that lead me from space to space

But always back to the same place



And all along the thing I've been looking for is Me

I've looked to you and you and you and you

But I could never find me

All the same road marks

All the same signs

All alone in the dark

Looking for me



But finally I have found light

The light that shines so bright I see my way home

My path is clear

And that light came from within

19 years

And I just finally learned

To be happy

You have to find happiness

And that comes from within

I learned that love is not a sin



I hated that I was different

That I couldn't control how I felt

I was ashamed to be honest

But now I feel like an open book

So come and take a look



I finally found myself

I found life's ultimate wealth.

Oh it is love...

I've never felt like this before.
